Endless Doesn't Lie!

Well, true to their word, my new shoes arrived from Endless Shoes today!! Yesterday I posted about finally purchasing these super cute wedges from a new shoe site, Endless Shoes & Handbags. This site is fantastic because of not only the selection but the free shipping as well! Yay! So I took advantage of the free overnight shipping and sure enough, I received them today! And not only was the shipping free and were the shoes already 52% off at $37.89 but they paid me to buy them!! I looked at the packing receipt and saw this: Promotional Certificate -$5.00 !! I must have overlooked that little detail when ordering. Anyway, I totally recommend this site. The shoes arrived right on time and are adorable! Exciting, eh? So what did we learn for this glimpse in the life of Ms. Brit? Hard to tell what with the hot dogs and Doritos followed by lean cuisine and diet coke. I give up. I can't figure that girl out.

Angelina Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand passed away on Saturday after a long struggle with cancer.

US Weekly Magazine is reporting that Marcheline felt that Angelina was finally in a stable relationship with Brad Pitt, which made her very happy.

That afternoon, Jolie, 31, and Pitt, 43, arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to be with Bertrand, 56, during her last hours. “Everybody cried,” says a Jolie friend. “Marcheline told Angelina and Brad that she loved them. It was incredibly emotional.” Bertrand herself had grown quite fond of Pitt – especially after seeing her daughter date (and, in two cases, marry) the wrong men.“Marcheline approved of their relationship completely,” says a source. “And Brad loved her.”

Courtney Vs Paula - It's Just Not True!!!

Further to yesterdays story that Courtney Love has been asked to be a judge on American Idol Star Magazine says it's all "BS"!

"I did not call Courtney Love and am afraid someone may have misrepresented
me," said American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe in a statement.
"Courtney Love is a very talented artist, but the judges for American Idol
are Paula, Randy and Simon. We have no plans to add to or replace any of
them." Previously, Usmagazine.com incorrectly reported that Love was being
considered for Abdul's judge spot.

Hahaha - so Star Magazine is having a jab at US Magazine for reporting a story that is not true. The irony of it all is so amusing. For all we know, Star could be totally making it up that the original story is not true, just to make US Magazine look bad.

The whole thing is a bit of a relief really, Courtney Love is a bigger trainwreck than Paula, and then the focus would totally be off the unknown trainwrecks and on the celebrity trainwreck, defeating the purpose of the show.

Posh is Too Skinny for her Own Clothes

Posh Spice has banned size 0 models from showing off her clothing line. The Daily Mail is reporting that she has enlisted 'voluptuous' Brazilian model Daniella Sarahyba to represent her brand. Ok, wait. First of all, Daniella is 'voluptuous'?? Marylin Monroe was voluptuous. She is certainly beautiful, but voluptuous? I guess standing next to Posh she might be, but look at her! That is so not voluptuous!
Anyway, I digress. A source tells The Daily Mail:

"Victoria wants to give out a positive image that you don't have to be ultra skinny to look good. Many of the models on the catwalk make young girls feel insecure about their own bodies. Victoria doesn't want to be accused of giving young girls a complex about their image and putting pressure on them to be as skinny as her."

Normally I would applaud this kind of move by any clothing designer but Posh Spice? Is she kidding? She might weigh 80 pounds soaking wet! And you don't have to be a plastic surgeon to know she wasn't born with those boobs. But yeah, ok, thanks Spice for your concern over what these super skinny models might be doing to the self esteem of young girls today. Someone pass her a hamburger.

Miss USA Admits To Using Cocaine, And Then Sniffs At $1M from Playboy

Tara Conner, Miss USA, and Donald Trump have reportedly turned down a $1million offer from Playboy for Tara to appear. "She just didn't feel it was appropriate. She will not be doing Playboy," said Trump spokeswoman Rhona Graff.(Is this the same "Rhona" from The Apprentice? She's had a promotion! She's not just bossing around the Apprentices early in the morning!!). NY Daily News has all the details. When told of the $1M offer from Playboy, former Miss Nevada, Katie Rees, laughed that she'll have to hold out for more money from Playboy.

The Grammy Awards have officially announced that the The Police will be reuniting and performing at the Grammy Awards to be held on February 11. Nobody is as excited about this as I am (well actually there probably are people more excited than me, but no one who contributes to this site is more excited than me!). Furious rumors are circulating that a 30th Anniversary Tour is also going to be announced after the Grammy Awards. I keep telling myself if I get seats far enough away from the stage, it will all be exactly the same as it was last time I saw them in the 80's...exactly the same....

Courteney Cox Won't Dish the DIRT On Her Friends

Courteney Cox is playing editor in real life, just like the character she plays on DIRT.

"There are many times that I'll call up the writers and say, 'Guys, I really
know that person.' Not that it's the person, but it sounds too much like someone
that they could possibly take it the wrong way."

Cox's character on DIRT, Lucy Spiller, will stop at nothing to get the story for her tabloid magazine, she even has her brother followed to find out who he is having a relationship with. Cox appears to be too worried about what her friends will think, and not worried enough about her new show. I watch DIRT and I really like it, but Courteney should throw caution to the wind and give us some great storylines that we know are probably true in real life, especially since each episode has been a little bit weaker than the previous one. Courteney, stop worrying and really give us something to dish about!

The Unpredicatable To Replace the Incoherent?

Is Courtney Love going to replace Paula Abdul on American Idol? Courtney Love claims that Idols producer, Nigel Lythgoe, called her office asking if she was interested in joining the American Idol judging panel. Love wouldn't reveal specifics, so it's unclear if Lythgoe was offering her a full time job replacing Paula, or just a guest judging spot. US Weekly

I can't even begin to imagine what American Idol would be like with Courtney Love. She is even more unpredictable than Paula, who sometimes seems totally out of it, rambling, shouting, crying and hitting Simon Cowell. Courtney Love would probably have to be beeped out every two seconds, making her opinions totally pointless as well. However, the addition of Courtney would make American Idol a hell of a lot more interesting!

Um, Excuse Me But You Forgot Your Pants.

At first glance, it would appear that Sienna Miller went out without her pants on. But, she is actually wearing bloomers and opaque tights! Eeek!! Before I go off, I should point out that according to Style.com, bloomers and boyshorts were on some of the big name runways for Spring such as Chanel and Prada. So, does that make you want to rush out and pick up a pair for your next happy hour? I think I'll pass. Maybe Sienna should pick up the same black trench coat I got!

Endless Shoes Update!

I just ordered those super cute wedges from Endless Shoes that I wrote about yesterday:

The only reason why I didn't order them yesterday was because I was runing around and figured I'd need a bit to go through the process; you know, sign up for an account, add your shipping address and credit card info, blah, blah, blah. I knew this site was by the folks over at Amazon but I guess I was forgetting just how easy it is to order through them and that that process would be the same at Endless. I put the shoes in my cart, hit checkout and there I was, in the same looking interface as Amazon. I plugged in my Amazon email and password and there was all my information that I have over at Amazon! Shipping address, etc. Within 3 clicks, I was done. And yes, I did choose the free overnight shipping option! Doesn't get any better than that! I'll post when they arrive. Now, if only it were warm enough outside to actually wear them!

Katie Is Crowned....

Miss Jet Nightclub 2007. Last night in Las Vegas, Katie Rees, ex-Miss Nevada, was finally crowned. Jet put on a full crowning ceremony for Katie, complete with sash, tiara and red roses. In a bizarre turn of events, it is reported by TMZ.com that Katie's parents, AND grandparents were present at the nightclub for her big moment (I would love to know what they think of the whole story!!) When asked where she was headed next, Katie replied "Hollywood, baby!".

Target Shopping Alert!

So this weekend, I picked up a couple of cute new things. First, I got the black clutch I wrote about the other day (for only $19.99).
It is even cutier in person. I used it on Saturday night and it was the perfect size for a night out. Love it.


I also picked up this black trench coat:

It was only $39.99 (by Mossimo). It's fairly thin which I actually like because I hate the bulky coat feeling when you have several layers on. There is a good amount of detail to the coat, specifically on the back, and it really pulled my outfit together nicely. Gotta love Target!

Ellen Pompeo Channeling Uhura?

Can someone please explain to me what is going on here? Why does Ellen Pompeo always have a sci-fi look to her at award shows? Does she have some secret desire to appear on Star Trek or Star Wars? That dress looks like it is about 5 sizes too big. The earrings are enormous and I really think it was an odd accessory choice given the big neck piece. She seems to love the slicked back hair look too. I was impressed with her at the Golden Globes because although the dress was still a bit Treky, she at least softened her hair. This is just so harsh! Maybe Miss P. needs a new stylist - assuming she has one at all.

Isaiah Washington Hates Everybody Equally

Isaiah Washington is just not anti-gay, he's angry with everyone Rush & Molloy reports. Washington is in a 30 day anger management program, after calling fellow Grey's cast member TR Knight a "faggot".

Veteran stage actress Madeline McCray was there when, a source says, Washington punched out a fellow actor who was - like Washington - straight and African-American. At the time, McCray and Washington were starring in August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Fences". Isaiah's not anti-gay; he's a hothead," McCray told us. "It's that his anger leads him to say and do things he wishes he hadn't - to everybody. He's always had a lack of control over his temper.

Good luck Isaiah. You've got even more to lose now that Grey's Anatomy has won a SAG Award for best ensemble cast. It's probably just as hard to give up drinking as it is to stop punching out everyone that irritates you. You can't even say "the drink made me do it".

Hugh Sports Pink for a Cause

Did you notice the pink pinkie ring that Hugh Laurie was wearing during the Golden Globe Awards? A lot of people were left scratching their heads wondering was it was. Turns out the ring is the Promise Ring, created by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It is available for only $5 at Komen.org. All of the proceeds go to breast cancer research. T.R. Knight to Leave Grey's?

MSN's The Scoop, is reporting that T.R. Knight who plays Dr. George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy is leaving the show. Siting an insider:
"He was told not to say anything about the whole incident." Referring to the original incident in October when Isaiah Washington used a homophobic slur towards T.R.

“He kept his word, but then the whole thing blew up again at the Golden Globes, and when he was asked about it, he basically called Isaiah a liar,” says the source. “He feels that the atmosphere there is so toxic and unhealthy. I suppose things could change and we would stay, but for now, he’s planning to leave the show.”

Knight's spokeswoman told The Scoop "we're not commenting on that." Then later called back to say the story was "completely, one thousand percent false." A rep for ABC also said that "rumors of T.R. Knight's departure from the show are irrefutable untrue."

I really hope this is just gossip because T.R. Knight is fantastic on Grey's. If anyone leaves, it should be Isaiah. Maybe he'll change after rehab, assuming he doesn't pull a Lindsey and leave every other day. At least Isaiah seems ot have one castmate on his side. Chandra Wilson gave him a bit of a shout out last night at the SAG Awards when she accepted her award for best female actor in a drama:

"It's about those 10 cast members sitting over there and the other one in rehab. Y'all just hold me together."

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held last night at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. The whole atmosphere was so much more relaxed than the Golden Globes, and all the actors happily chatted with Ryan Seacrest showing off their finery. Ryan Seacrest himself wasn't even taking things too seriously, as he stood on a box when interviewing Desperate Housewives' Brenda Strong, as she is very tall, and pointed out to Ryan that she was wearing five inch heels.



Vanessa Williams obviously took took our words to heart after the big hair disaster of the Golden Globes and had her hair flat ironed within an inch of it's life. I love this look on Vanessa. It is much more flattering and she looks years younger. The dress is also a fabulous color.

Reese Witherspoon looked sensational as usual.

I loved Sandra Oh's dress except for the big black spot in the middle. It might have been great in person, but it looked very strange on TV. Like she'd had an accident on the way over in the limo.

Chandra Wilson from Grey's Anatomy won for Best Actress TV Drama and also as part of the Grey's Anatomy Ensemble Cast award. Chandra looked fantastic and was glowing on stage as she accepted her award.

Marcheline Bertrand, Mother of Angelina Jolie, Died Today.

Marcheline Bertrand, mother of Angelina Jolie, died of cancer today. Angelina Jolie, brother James Haven and Brad Pitt were at her bedside. FOX has the full story.

A private funeral is planned and in lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Women's Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Katie Rees: I Want An Acting Career!

Katie Rees has admitted, in an interview with Fox News Channels Greta Van Susteren, that she would like to pursue an acting career, but her raunchy photographs and firing as Miss Nevada have put that on hold.

VAN SUSTEREN: Let me ask -- before we run out of
time, Katie, assuming that your title doesn't get restored, what's in your
future? What do you want to do?

REES: To be honest with you, I'd really like to pursue my acting career.
I've been a sag actress since I was 7-years-old. I have the same agent, Randal
Edwards at the Talent Network Atlanta, since I was 7-years- old, and he's been
backing me the whole way and this Monday, my good friends at Jet, at The Mirage,
Jet nightclub are throwing me a huge party and they're going crown me the queen
of Jet Las Vegas, so right now, my friends are just celebrating the fact that
I'm being so strong and they're proud of me no matter what.

VAN SUSTEREN: So we're going to see an acting career out of
you?

REES: I hope so. That was the plan before all of
this, anyway.

Miss USA: "I'm An Alcoholic"

Miss USA, Tara Conner has admitted in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that she has a problem with alcohol and addiction.

"I didn't think I had any kind of issue going into rehab. I even said, 'I'll get some free therapy,' or something like that – and that was so ridiculous," says Conner. "But I've realized I do have an issue. I suffer from the disease of alcoholism and addiction. And if there's anything that I want people to know it's the severity of this disease and what it can do to people."

Tara spent 31 days in rehab, and checked out this week. Tara's first TV interview will be on the Today Show on February 1st.

So the nose job story isn't over yet. TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Aniston is very angry with Dr. Raj Kanodia for speaking to US Weekly for a piece they are running with entitled "Jen's Secret Nose Job." The fine Dr. Raj told US that he would not confirm that he performed the surgery but then went on to describe how rhinoplasty works. According to TMZ's sources, Aniston has placed several calls to his office to "express her extreme displeasure". Wow. Nice move Dr. Good luck getting any more high profile clients like Jennifer Aniston or your previous patients like Cameron Diaz and Ashlee Simpson.

The Hooters Girls Are Totally Smart and Stuff!

It must be a slow news day for the folks over at Fox News because they actually had a story on the 2007 Hooters Calendar. The story featured several 'waitresses' that are lucky enough to appear in the calendar. When asked where they hope to be in 10 years, the answers were priceless:
"I want a white picket fence"; "I want kids and I'll be staying home."; "Hopefully I'll have a boyfriend by then."; and my absolute favorite was the sweet girl who said "I wanna be an astronaut or queen of the universe." I am not kidding. Then, as if that wasn't enough information for you brain to try and process, they actually had an in-studio interview with three more Hooters girls who were very excited about being in the calendar: "We getta travel and visit cool cities!" When asked about people who say that Hooters is maybe a bit too racy, one was very adamant in her defense of her employer "We are a family restaurant! We have crayons and balloons!"

Lindsay Leaves AGAIN!!!!

What kind of rehab is Lindsay Lohan really attending? The rehab you're in while you're not really in rehab? TMZ.com has the exclusive on Lindsay's latest jaunt around town.

"Lohan, who checked into rehab nine days
ago, took her SL500 to Beverly Hills Mercedes for
service. She also stopped by the set of her new movie, "I Know Who Killed Me."
Lindsay then made one last stop -- at a grocery store -- before heading back to
Wonderland rehab facility.

When she does go back, other rehab residents
have groused to TMZ that Lindsay has her peeps come to
pamper her -- a masseur, hairstylist, makeup artist, etc. They're also upset
that Lindsay has the magic key to the front door"

Yesterday we were wondering about Lindsay's rehab and questioning the reasons Lindsay is even in rehab and also making herself very visible to the paparazzi for photographs. One big publicity stunt?

Michael Jackson has been spotted in the U.S.!! Jackson's rep sited 'security reasons' for not revealing Jackson's location during a call with the AP yesterday. Gee, worried someone doesn't think very highly of the gloved one? Jackson has been seen in Georgia and Los Vegas but beyond that, he could be anywhere!
During the call, a reporter was allowd to ask one question which was "How are you?" to which Jackson replied "I'm fine, thank you." Wow. Very informative.

Smokey Robinson is Mad at Dream Girls

In an interview on NPR Radio yesterday, Smokey Robinson blasted Dream Girls calling the account of Motown a "betrayal of black history". At issue was Jamie Foxx's portrayal of the character based loosely on Berry Gordy. The real Gordy

"borrowed $800 from his family's funds and started Motown so that we could be paid. And for him to be maligned and made out like this villainous character is very, very, very offensive to me."

Legendary R&B artist Smokey Robinson was voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. I would imagine the writers/producers/director of Dream Girls will all say that this was a fictional account, but anyone who knows anything about Dream Girls and Motown knows this film was based on Berry Gordy and The Supremes.
