The Police - Totally Arresting!

The Police were the opening act at the Grammy Awards last night, the first time they have played together since they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Rumours are everywhere that after last nights performance they will be announcing a reunion tour. I really hope so. I plan to go. Mia and I loved The Police last night. They were the best thing about the whole Grammy Awards. When they finished singing Roxanne, it definitely left you wanting more. The Police managed to maintain the exact same sound they had 20 years ago, making the performance magical, and for me at least ,a nice trip back in time. I saw The Police perform at one of their very last concerts before they broke up in 1984.

Sting looked fantastic, and has aged the best out of the three of them, andyou couldn't really wipe the smile of Stewart Copeland's face while he was drumming, he seemed very pleased to be back together again.

For Mia and me, this was the highlight of the entire awards show.

Introducing....Ms Whitney Houston!

Whitney is back!! Look at her!!. She is looked fantastic last night at Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy Awards party . I was a bit worried about the girls popping out of her Roberto Cavalli dress when I saw this photo, but I guess nothing bad happened because we haven't heard anything about it. She finally has some life back in her face, her hair looks good and she's smiling. Whitney didn't sing at the party last night, because she's not quite ready for her big comeback yet, but she is busy recording an album, which I hope is going to be huge for Whitney.

Fabulous Fergie

Check out Fergie at the Grammy's last night! I'm sure Kate and I have made it perfectly clear that we are not fans of metallic anything but I really do like this Badgley Mischka dress she chose. There were quite a few mini-dresses on the red carpet last night but Fergie really pulled it off. She looks fantastic....all those workouts we have seen her doing have certainly paid off!

Nelly Furtado

I really am looking for a dress I liked. Really! And it's not that I'm picky, but seriously! Look at Nelly Furtado's "dress"! What happened to the bottom? And I think she went a little nuts with the bedazzler.

Jennifer Hudson looking glam in Roberto Cavalli. She looks like she's lost weight since the Golden Globes!

Carrie Underwood, Grammy Winner for Best Country Vocal at the pre-Grammy's looked stunning on the Red Carpet, but did throw a hissy fit when she got something in her hair, while talking to Ryan Seacrest.

This is Imogen Heap - nominee for best new artist. I have never heard of this person. In fact, I had to read the full caption to figure out if this was a man or woman. What exactly is going on here?? Is that a plant on her head?? And lily pads on the dress? Help. Someone, please, help me understand this mess.

Message in a Bottle......

The Grammy Awards have officially announced that the The Police will be reuniting and performing at the Grammy Awards to be held on February 11. Nobody is as excited about this as I am (well actually there probably are people more excited than me, but no one who contributes to this site is more excited than me!). Furious rumors are circulating that a 30th Anniversary Tour is also going to be announced after the Grammy Awards. I keep telling myself if I get seats far enough away from the stage, it will all be exactly the same as it was last time I saw them in the 80's...exactly the same....
