I Did Not Pat That Woman's Ass

Back on February 8, a video surfaced of the lovable George Bush, Sr. giving Teri Hatcher a little pat on the rear while saying goodbye. That video has got the former president all in a tizzy. Over the weekend, Hatcher and Bush hosted a Women's Leadership forum at Texas A&M University. According to Extra, Bush was quite defensive about the video.

"I have been teased about it relentlessly. I did not do it. The camera lies, it's a fraud."

Fraud? Really? The only thing he didn't say was 'read my lips'. Check out the video and judge for yourself.

Birkhead to Stern: NO DEALS!!

Larry Birkhead's attorney, Debra Opri, is stating that there will be no deals with Howard K. Stern. Stern has been trying to bully Larry Birkhead into a deal.

Opri has come out strongly and stated:

".... the only subject of negotiation is "how fast he [Stern] will produce the child for a DNA test and how quickly he will allow that child to go to California with her real father." (TMZ.com)

Yay!! Stay strong Larry!! This is the best move Opri can make on behalf of Birkhead. Hopefully the Bahamian court will order Stern to take Dannielynn for DNA testing and then she can can finally be with her real father!!

Monday Morning Funny

I love this story. Mostly because I have a fantastic visual in my head. Victoria "Posh" Beckham was chased by pot-bellied pigs. Pigs! Apparently, she was checking out a school, specifically their science lab, when two pigs took a liking to her.

"Victoria was being shown around the science lab when two pet pot-bellied pigs, who are allowed to roam free, snuffed up to her. She screamed, 'Get it away!', and tried to run away in her high heels. It was hysterical, everyone was trying so hard not to laugh."

They are pet pigs girlfriend! Get a grip! I wish her reality show was following her around, this story would only be better if it was captured on film.

Together Again.....But In Real Life This Time?

US Magazine is reporting that former Melrose Place stars (am I the only one who misses that show!?) Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner had dinner together on Thursday at Mr. Chow in L.A. So you know what this means....everyone is falling all over themselves to report that they are the latest new couple. I don't know if I'll go that far, but they look pretty cute together. And it makes a little more sense than Heather and David Spade.

Angelina Jolie Wants to Play Frantic Mother

Angelina Jolie wants the lead role and the movie rights to the story of Melissa Hawach, the Canadian mother who employed a five man team of mercenaries from Australia and New Zealand to steal her kids back from her ex- husband after he abducted them and took them to Lebanon. Hawach's ex-husband Joseph is Lebanese-Australian.

Hawach had not seen her daughters Hannah 5, and Cedar, 3, for six months since they had been abducted.

Five major studios have already bid for the rights to the story and Angelina Jolie wants to play Hawach . Jolie's reps have called Hawach's agents to express an interest.

I can totally see Angelina in this role - it would be perfect for her! And it a great story of hope and a mothers love, and you can't make this stuff up. Real life is often so much more interesting than fiction!!

Stern to Birkhead: Sign For Dannielynn

Howard K Stern has been trying to make a backdoor deal with Larry Birkhead for custody of Dannielynn! reports Fox News. Stern is trying to make it look like everyone is going to be on the receiving end of money made from exclusive agreements with TV shows!!

"Howard wanted Larry to sign so that it looked like everyone was in agreement, and that it wasn't just Howard benefiting from these deals," my source said. "Larry said the baby's guardian should sign the papers for him and the baby, but he wouldn't. So then Larry wouldn't."

Birkhead it seems is sticking to his guns and and maintaining his integrity by refusing to sign anything. Debra Opri, Birkheads lawyer is clear that Birkhead will gain custody of Dannielynn without making any deals with Stern and by proving that he is the father with a DNA test.

TMZ is reporting something slightly different, that Birkhead wouldn't sign even though the money is going to a trust for Dannielynn. Hmmm. I really doubt that Howard!. Who is he trying to kid? We know you are in it for the money, Stern!!

Stretch Like Gumby, Dammit

No matter how you feel about TomKat, they were looking quite gorgeous at the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty. According to Life & Style, they may have had a little work done before the big party.

"A rep for the couple denies the two have had work done, but a pal of theirs says both stars can attribute their radiant glow to a series of Titan skin-tightening treatments."

First of all, do they mean theatan skin-tightening treatments? And second of all, ouch! I'm all for looking great, but that just sounds painful! Would your standard facial do the same trick?

Breaking Dancing With the Stars News!! Variety is reporting that a new dancer has been added!!! John Ratzenberger a.k.a. Cliff from Cheers will be stepping in for Vincent Pastore who quit after just one week of training. According to the executive producer of Dancing, Pastore didn't realize how demanding the show would be for him.

"We're sad that Vincent felt he was unable to continue in the competition, as he would have been great on the show. Dancing With the Stars is physically demanding, and it pays to know your limits."

Yada, yada, yada.....move over mob guy, America's favorite barfly is taking over! I am SO excited about this! Who doesn't love Cliff? Cliff! I hope he dances with a mug of beer in his hand, the thought of that is way better than the possibility of Heather Mills' leg flying off.

Caveman Invents Wheel, Then Gets Own Show

ABC is actually producing a pilot based on the Geico Cavemen!! I can't believe this. I mean, those commercials are really funny and all, but that's probably because they are given in small doses but an entire show? I'm not so sure about this idea. According to Variety,

" 'Cavemen' will revolve around three pre-historic men who must battle prejudice as they attempt to live as normal thritysomethings in modern America."

The pilot is written by Joe Lawson, one of the ad men behind the Geico ads. Wow. Cavemen on t.v. I'll check it out but I don't have high hopes for this one.

Katherine Doesn't Like Her Dirty Laundry Aired

Katherine Heigle is a bit upset with her bosses over at Touchstone for going public about the contract negotiations. After reports came out that Heigl had dropped out of contract talks, Touchstone responded by saying,
"We have a long term contract to ensure she'll be with the show for several years to come." Also in the statement, they said they offered her a "significantly higher pay package."
Now, People reports that Heigle is coming out with a statement of her own.

"I am embarrassed that this has become a public matter and disappointed that Touchstone felt it necessary to divulge private employment information," Heigl, 28, said in a statement Thursday. "I had hoped I would be able to deal with this issue confidentially with my bosses. I dropped out of the renegotiation simply because I wanted to treat myself with the respect I was not getting from them. No matter how unhappy I am about their decision to respond to this publicly, I continue to be passionate about and committed to this character."

Well, the good news is that Izzy isn't going anywhere! It's a shame to hear that there is so much trouble over there in Grey's land though. Between this and the Isaiah mess, I just hope they all stick it out and keep churning out fantastic shows.

Anna Nicole: Funeral

As Anna Nicole's casket was brought into the Mt Horeb Baptist Church, it was a very powerful and solemn moment , reported MSNBC's Rita Cosby, soon after leaving the church.

Vergie Arthur gave a very personal speech about how much she loved Anna.

Larry Birkhead stood up and said "I know she was very special to everyone in this room" and then told some funny stories about Anna Nicole and ended by saying "Goodnight Sweet Anna baby", and then broke down and wept.

Howard K Stern, also spoke about Anna's rags to riches life and then turned on Vergie Arthur, by saying that testimony last week in the hearing was all lies, and that he knew the truth. After his speech, Howard K Stern's supporters got up and clapped.

We can't get over that. Clapped Howard K Stern at a funeral!! This could have been grandstanding for the television cameras that were present in the church. It has been rumored that Howard K Stern has made a deal with Entertainment Tonight for the exclusive rights to the funeral. Other speculation is that Richard Milstein was having it filmed for Dannielynn. We're going with the Stern rumor.

The funeral procession is now on the way to the graveside, where Anna Nicole will be buried with an urn containing half the ashes of her late husband, J Howard Marshall.

It's official, Angelina Jolie is adopting from Vietnam! There has been a bit of confusion recently as to whether or not the adoption was really happening. All the reports are saying that Angelina has filed paperwork - no mention of Brad Pitt's name being on the papers.

According to the Associated Press, the director of Vietnam's International Adoption Agency said an American adoption agency representing Jolie had
submitted the paperwork.

"She just filed the papers this week," Vu Duc Long said.

The new addition will join Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. We wish them well!

Anna Nicole's Red Carpet Arrival

A short time ago, Anna Nicole's white hearse arrived at the Mt Horeb Baptist Church. The red carpet was rolled out and her casket, covered with a pink blanket, tulle and ribbons was carried into the church by pallbearers with pink ties and pink boutonnieres.

The motorcade carrying Anna Nicole waited for 25 minutes outside the church to find out if Vergie Arthur's last minute attempt to have the funeral stopped was successful. Her motion was denied!!.

MSNBC is reporting that there are over 300 people in the church, including Slash from Guns'NRoses and MSNBC's Rita Cosby.

Larry Birkhead arrived to cheers from the crowd, Howard K Stern arrived to jeers from the crowd. Vergie Arthur had a mixed welcome. Dannielynn was not present.

It is being reported that there are camera crews inside the church and Howard K Stern has a contractual agreement for a "substantial amount" with the camera crew. It is also being reported that Howard K Stern has arranged a "party" tonight at the prestigious Ocean Club in Nassau.

Antonella Sticks Around Another Week

I guess America likes Miss Antonella Barba! She was not voted out of American Idol last night much to my horror.. She can't sing to save herself, and knows it, so maybe having all these leaked photos of her in compromising positions is not such a bad thing after all. Everyone is talking about her, so it's true that there is no such thing as bad publicity. She did have the grace to look a bit surprised that she wasn't going home. I wonder if the producers didn't boot her out of the show because they are relying on "America to Decide" and do the dirty work for them.

Simon Cowell said yesterday that it was disgusting that the photos were leaked as they were private. Hmmmm. Maybe she leaked them herself?

Paula was looking freshly botoxed last night. A mildly amused look and an unwrinkled forehead gave the game away.

Even more shocking to me than Antonella getting to stay on Idol, were Kellie Pickler's new, enormous boobs. Kellie was singing to promote her new single. Ryan Seacrest asked what she'd been spending her money on while looking directly at her massive new chest, and Pickler replied "shoes". Seacrest kept pushing "Is that all?". She wouldn't say, but trust me, you couldn't miss them!

Brokeback Gives Marky Mark the Creeps

Mark Wahleberg says that he was "a little creeped out" at the idea of having to play a gay cowboy in Brokeback Mountain. He was considered for the role in the film but was uncomfortable about the sex scenes.

"I met with (film maker) Ang Lee on that movie, I read 15 pages of the script and got a little creeped out. It was very graphic, descriptive - the spitting on the hand, getting ready to do the thing. I told him, 'I like you, you're a talented guy, if you want to talk about it more...' Thankfully, he didn't."

He also admits that he hasn't even seen the film. "It's just not my deal."
I guess playing a porno star in Boogie Nights is more his thing!

Anna Nicole: Funeral Arrangements

Now that all the legal wrangling has been put aside for a few days, arrangements for Anna Nicole's funeral tomorrow have been made public. Richard Milstein, working on behalf of Dannielynn, just issued a schedule of events for tomorrow.

Anna Nicole's body will be leaving the Broward County Medical Examiners office at 5:25am and will then be flown by private plane to Nassau, Bahamas. The private service will be held at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church at 10:30am followed by a private graveside service and burial at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The events are closed, but will have staging areas for the media. The last paragraph of the schedule states:

Mr Milstein requests that members of the media uphold the decorum and dignity that should be maintained throughout the process, for the sake of Dannielynn and the memories she will have of her mother's funeral.

Apparently the funeral is going to be very elaborate full of pink flowers, a specially made burial gown, and a well known singer (who has not been disclosed at this stage).

Vergie Arthur, Larry Birkhead and Howard K Stern all put aside their differences and worked together to arrange the funeral for Anna Nicole.

Britney Leaves Rehab

......but not the way you think! She left Promises last night for an AA meeting in Santa Monica. TMZ exclusively reports that Britney was escorted to the meeting by her assistant and returned to Promises right after the meeting. She sure looks happy. Hopefully thing are going well for Britney in rehab.
