Here's Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise and adorable Suri, on the set of her movie "Mad Money" last week. I don't know if it's just this picture, but don't you think that Tom Cruise has been looking younger and younger lately? Maybe he's had a face lift? He's definitely lost weight since the wedding. This picture of them looks like it was taken 20 years ago. Is "Mad Money" set in the '80's?

These two really get around, they were spotted on the weekend in Georgetown biking on the C&O Canal towpath, and apparently were in good spirits and signing autographs and having their photo's taken with the ordinary folk of Washington.

Tom Cruise Is Only Number Six

USA Today has published a list of the Top 25 Public Meltdowns and Tom Cruise is only # 6. This might cause him to have another meltdown!! Britney's public head shaving came in at #23, behind Mel Gibson's drunken rant at #19. I'm surprised that Britney didn't score higher. OJ's slow speed highway chase was #5. Hmmmm, I'm not sure I agree with the order of this list.

Tom & Katie's New Crib

People is reporting that Tom Cruise has put down $35 million on a new house in Beverly Hills for the happy little family. They have been renting their current home but the lease runs out next year. The mansion (I refuse to call it a house) has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It sits on 1.3 acres behind gates and is being described as a "traditional-style residence". And in case you were worried that the move would take them away from their best friends Victoria and David Beckham, fear not. They also just bought a new multi-million-dollar home only two minutes away. Thank goodness.

Katie Makes Secret Phone Calls

Katie Holmes is taking advantage of being on a movie set, far away from the confines of her Hollywood prison. Sources told Life & Style that she has been contacting old friends that she hasn't spoken to in two years and not only that but she has also been....gasp....secretly speaking to a Catholic priest! According to the source, she called an old friend, Meghann Birie, who she hasn't spoken to since meeting Cruise.

"She wanted to talk to someone not in Camp Cruise. Katie told Meghann she can't believe she abandoned her old life."

It is also being reported that in addition to talking to a priest, she is considering enrolling Suri in "Kiddie Catholicism" classes.
Wow! Better hope the king of Scientology, aka, her husband doesn't get wind of this. He will take all her phones away and chain himself to her side!

Trouble in Outer Space?

Could Katie Holmes have finally come to her senses?? Life & Style is reporting that Katie ran out on him after a nasty spat!

"...on March 23, after he informed her she hadn’t been cheerful enough in public — yet another attempt to control her behavior — things took a surprising turn: Katie “ran out of the house,” says an insider close to the couple. “She had to get away from Tom because it was like living in a pressure cooker. She couldn’t take it anymore."

I am still in the camp that says this marriage was totally done under contract and that baby Suri is not Tom's. She always looks so drugged and unhappy. If the idea was to help both of their careers, it doesn't seem to be working! Free Katie!

Tom and Larry Tour The Museum of Death

Larry King says that Tom Cruise gave him a private tour of the Scientology Museum "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death".

In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, King talks about his own bouts with depresion and all the celebrities that he's interviewed who have spoken frankly about their struggles with the disease.

Then there is Tom Cruise.

"I like Tom a lot," King said. But he disagrees with Cruise's stance on psychiatry and antidepressants. After the controversy, in which Cruise questioned Shields' postpartum depression, Cruise gave King a private tour of a Scientology's new museum in Hollywood called Psychiatry: An Industry of Death.

"Their attack on psychiatry is incredible," King said. "They hate psychiatry."

King believes that mental illness is real.

Katie To Be Posh's Wingman?

We all know that Victoria Beckham is getting her own reality show, but the news today is that Katie Holmes, Posh's BFF wants in on the show as well. She's thrilled for Posh and thinks it would be fun to share the screen time!

MSNBC is reporting a "friend" says of Katie, “She’s hoping to let the world see her as a happy wife and mother!”

I'll just bet. If it's true, it would all be for show, although I can't imagine Tom letting someone else have the final say in the editing room where Katie is concerned!!

Tom Plans to Be on Katie's Movie Set Everyday

So Happy Together.....

Katie Holmes is due to start filming her new movie "Mad Money", along with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton, and Page Six is reporting that Tom Cruise plans to be on the set, with Suri, EVERY day.

One insider said, "Tom has called producers and told them he will be on set every day. "He wants to observe what's going on and will probably help Katie out." The couple will likely bring their infant daughter, Suri, along as well.

Poor Katie, that's just too much. Give the woman a break! No wonder she roams around looking like a zombie. She gets no time to herself.!! Page Six is also saying that Tom "let" Katie do this movie because it is a female buddy movie and there are no sex scenes or love interests for Katie to deal with.

Katie's only hope is that Queen Latifah can knock some sense into her in a quiet moment.

Stretch Like Gumby, Dammit

No matter how you feel about TomKat, they were looking quite gorgeous at the Vanity Fair Oscar afterparty. According to Life & Style, they may have had a little work done before the big party.

"A rep for the couple denies the two have had work done, but a pal of theirs says both stars can attribute their radiant glow to a series of Titan skin-tightening treatments."

First of all, do they mean theatan skin-tightening treatments? And second of all, ouch! I'm all for looking great, but that just sounds painful! Would your standard facial do the same trick?

Katie Holmes Is Very Tall

This is Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars last night. They were MIA on the red carpet, even though Cruise presented an award to Sherry Lansing during the ceremony. I cannot get over how much taller she is than him in this photo. Isn't he usually really strict about his wives not looking taller than him? Didn't he make Kidman wear flats around everywhere so they would look like the same height? Don't you think that Katie even looks like she's on tip toe in this photo? Is she trying to look taller?

Baby Suri!!!!

It's Suri!!! Katie Holmes and....hahah.....Tom Cruises'....hahah....daughter! Sorry, still can't quite seem to get that second part out without laughing. There she is being held by mom, Katie. Looks like grandma may be a bit confused as to which direction they are going in. Or maybe she was about to pull a Heather Mills on the photographer. That is one cute baby. I think she looks just like Katie.

All Aboard the Wacky Ship

Despite her repeated denials, Jennifer Lopez and husband Mark "Skelator" Anthony have boarded the wacky ship that is Scientology. Anthony has been taking the "purification" course which supposedly cures all ills and both have been in meetings in the celebrity center in Hollywood. Rumors started to swirl when Lopez and Anthony were invited to the wedding of Tom Cruise, (aka: The Chosen One/The Messiah/Christ-Like Figure/Recruiting Manager of Scientology) and Katie Holmes. A source tells FOX

"They're in. There's no doubt about it."

Lopez has confided in a friend that she would "do anything" to help her marriage. Apparently she thinks Scientology is better than a marriage counselor.
Lopez's father has been a Scientologist for 20 years.

Cruise and Stiller: Hardy Boys?

Are Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller planning on remaking the Hardy Boys? TMZ is reporting that Cruise and Stiller are in talks to play the Hardy Boys in a movie, possibly titled The Hardy Men, which is scheduled to go into production in October.

Why? This movie is completely unnecessary. Even more unnecessary than the remake of Bewitched Didn't Hollywood learn anything from that fiasco? Like you can't be better than Elizabeth Montgomery, even if you are Nicole Kidman!

I'm sceptical that this rumor is actually true, as I can't imagine Cruise playing one of the Hardy Boys, even if they are men now, and solving the mystery of the late library book is hardly riveting movie material. Besides, no one can play a Joe Hardy like Shaun Cassidy. No one.

Katie Holmes is Bazaar!!

Katie Holmes is giving her first interview since she because Mrs Tom Cruise, in Harper's Bazaar's March issue. PEOPLE are reporting that Katie gushed about her husband and family.

"I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it's – wow!" Holmes, 28, says in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar."I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him husband."

Frighteningly, Katie's close friend, Victoria Beckham , was the stylist on Katie's photo shoot for Bazaar.

"Victoria has a strong sense of style – she knew the pieces she wanted Katie to
wear," said Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey.

This is really the first we have heard from Katie Holmes since the extravagant wedding in November , and she is gushing all over the place about her "children" (I wonder how Nicole Kidman feels about that?) and married life. I'm happy for her if she is believing her own press. Something is still not right about Cruise and Holmes, and even the Katie Holmes/Victoria Beckham friendship seems a little odd to me.

There has even been some speculation that Katie has had a nose job. It's hard to tell, but she is definitely thinner in the face these days.

Katie, I loved you in Pieces of April. Let's hope Tom lets you off the leash long enough to make some more good movies like this.

Tom Cruise - Messiah?

The Sun is reporting that Tom Cruise has been told he has been "chosen" to spread the message of Scientology throughout the world.

And leader David Miscavige believes that in future, Cruise, 44, will be worshipped like Jesus for his work to raise awareness of the religion. A source close to the actor, who has risen to one of the church’s top levels, said: “Tom has been told he is Scientology’s Christ-like figure. “Like Christ, he’s been criticised for his views. But future generations will realise he was right.”

Cruise joined the Church of Scientology in the 1980's and has made no secret of his involvement and devotion to the church since that time. It has been rumored that he has been recently trying to recruit Victoria and David Beckham to the religion, and Cruise is not shy about sharing his views on Scientology and how they relate to medicine and psychiatry, as was evidenced last year in a very public spat with Brooke Shields and Matt Lauer, over Shield's use of medication for post-partum depression.

All his spouting of Scientology, couch jumping, rumoured Scientology "silent birth" for wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri, and three-ringed circus November 2006 wedding, have done nothing for Cruise's messiah image, only made his whole life seem like a mystifying joke.

My only question is, if Tom Cruise is the new Jesus , who does that make Katie Holmes?
