"Anna Nicole Was My Goddess" - Stern.

Howard K Stern took the stand today at 12:15. He outlined how long he had known Anna Nicole (since 1996) and said of her "she was my whole world. My best friend, my lover, my goddess and the mother of my child".

Stern went on to describe their relationship as a "non-exclusive intimate relationship", which involved Anna Nicole having other boyfriends while she was with Stern, between the years of 2000-2007.

Krista Bath, Stern attorney, and Judge Seidlin, both questioned Stern. Stern outlined his relationship with Daniel Smith - "we were like brothers" and said that Daniel was "Anna's whole world".

Stern described looking for burial plots in Westwood, CA, in close proximity to the grave of Marilyn Monroe, as that was where Anna Nicole originally wanted to be buried, but it was cost prohibitive. Things changed of course when Daniel died last September in the Bahamas,and after much discussion,double plots were purchased in the Bahamas, and Daniel was laid to rest in one of the plots, and Stern contends that the other plot was for Anna Nicole, and "she always believed she would die young, like Marilyn Monroe".

Stern came across as very flat and factual, and didn't really show much emotion while he was on the stand. He is a lawyer and well accustomed to the courtroom.

For a period of time all the lawyers were in chambers with Judge Seidlin, so it was off camera. Larry Birkhead returned from chambers with a small smile on his face. I would love to know what went on in there. Birkhead and Stern are seated very close to each other, but from what I can see have not even acknowledged each other.

Just before court recess, it was agreed that Krista Bath, Stern's lawyer would bring into evidence tapes of interviews of Anna Nicole, where she is talking about her relationship with her mother Vergie Arthur. All lawyers argued for the full tapes of the interviews, not just the edited versions.

Mia and I are definitely on Team Larry Birkhead. After watching the sad video Stern took of Anna at 8 months pregnant, I just can't trust a word that Stern says.

Medical Examiner: There Were No Surgeries

There have been several reports stating that Anna Nicole had recent breast surgery to repair one of her implants before her death. MSNBC's Rita Cosby reported on Sunday that sources were telling her that she had more than one.

Smith had had at least two surgeries since giving birth to her daughter five months ago, one of which was breast surgery. Sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Smith had been recuperating from breast surgery at the time of her death and was prescribed multiple painkillers for her recovery

However, today, the medical examiner said there was no sign of any recent surgeries on her body and that "if there were, I would have caught it." In addition, he says he is talking to every person that had any contact with Anna Nicole on the day of her death. He is looking for all details on the events leading up to her death such as how she was feeling, how she was acting, etc.
As for Howard K. Stern, he is now back in the estate known as "Horizons" in the Bahamas with little Dannielyn Hope. An AP reporter says Stern's mother was seen entering the estate and that Smith's mother, Vergie Arthur, was seen at the gates but did not go inside. Stern is denying her any access to the baby. Arthur told Rita Cosby today "I wouldn't leave a dog with Howard Stern, let alone a baby." She also said that she will be flying to Florida to meet with the medical examiner to try and gain access to the body.

Is anyone else starting to get a little suspicious of Stern given his behavior as of late? The exclusive interview with ET showing him reuniting with Dannielyn just doesn't seem right to me.

Here a Daddy, There a Daddy, Everywhere a Daddy Daddy

Ok kids, math time! By my count, and it is getting difficult, at the end of the day yesterday, we had 3 potential daddy's for Anna Nicole Smith's 5-month old daughter, Dannielyn.
First, we have her sort-of husband-by-commitment-ceremony-but-not-legal-in-the-U.S.-husband, Howard K. Stern. Then there is the ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead. Stern and Birkhead are in a big spitting contest over DNA and such. And then there was my favorite contender, Frederic Prince Von Anhalt, better known as Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband. But then today, just when you thought it was safe to put down your calculator, we have yet another potential daddy - it's none other than Anna Nicole's dead billionaire husband, J. Howard Marshall! Yup. I know! The New York Daily News is reporting that Anna Nicole's half-sister Donna Hogan has written a manuscript called "Train Wreck" (which is just not nice) claiming that Smith froze the sperm of 90-year-old Marshall and may have used it to become pregnant. It is her inheritance from Marshall that seems to be the real reason all these baby daddy's are swarming around.

"I wouldn't be shocked at all if it's J. Howard's. She saved his sperm after all and that maybe her trump card in her fight to get the old man's estate."

The book goes on to claim that Anna Nicole hinted to family that she had frozen sperm and would have Marshall's child. When discussing the paternity fight, Hogan says,

"That's my sister for you. That bitch probably doesn't even know who the father is. Soon she'll probably say it's J. Howards."

I'm not sure how many more men are going to come forward, but I have a suspicion there will be more.

Zsa Zsa's Husband's Anna Nicole's Baby-Daddy??

Word coming in now is that Frederic Prince Von Anhalt or perhaps better known as Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, is now claiming that HE is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby, Dannielyn! This just keeps getting stranger. He has said that if you look at the time-line, Anna Nicole was not with either Larry Birkhead or Howard K. Stern but that she was with him. He claims that their affair has gone on for a decade - he has been married to Zsa Zsa for 20 years. He is also saying that he will file a lawsuit if custody of Dannielynn is given to Stern or Birkhead. Wow, who is going to come forward next, K-Fed? More to come as this develops!

UPDATE: Zsa Zsa's spokesman has said that Von Anhalt is a "chronic fabricator. It is embarrassing and ludicrous."

Anna Nicole's Mother Was Worried About Her Drug Use

TMZ is reporting that back in November of '06, Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, made a plea to her daughter while on "The Dr. Keith Ablow Show".

"Vickie Lynn, please, you have a family baby...we're still here for you. You don't have to have drugs, you've got a beautiful baby girl now. You need to start life over, you need to be a great mom and live life now."

She goes on to express her concern over Anna Nicole's drug use,

"I'm disappointed that she got mixed up in drugs and the wrong people...she lives on drugs now."

She also doubted that Howard K. Stern was the father of Smith's baby, Dannielynn.
The cause of Anna Nicole's death is still unknown but her mother's statements make an overdose, or cardiac arrest brought on by drug use, make even more sense. She also made a now scary statement in October on Nancy Grace's CNN show,

"If Howard Stern marries her and she ends up dead, then who does the money go to? Danny's not there."

Wow. Kind of gives you the chills, doesn't it?

Where is Anna Nicole Smith's Baby?

People Magazine is now reporting that Anna Nicole Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, was not in the Hard Rock Hotel with her but that she is in the Bahamas being cared for by the mother of Shane Gibson, a high-ranking Bahamian official who is a close friend of Anna Nicole's. Who the father of Dannielynn is, is still under dispute. Larry Birkhead wants a paternity test done but Anna Nicole Smith's husband and former attorney, Howard K. Stern still insists that he is Dannielynn's father.



UPDATE: Howard K. Stern is the Legal Guardian of Dannielynn according to Bahama law, reports TMZ.com. The issue of the DNA testing is going to be heard in court on Friday

UPDATE: First Press Conference on Anna Nicole Smith

Other than the most basic of information, the first press conference with regard to Anna Nicole Smith did not turn up any new clues as to what caused her death.

Here is what we do know: her private nurse called the hotel operator for 911 at 1:38. She was the only one in the room with her at the time. Soon after, her body guard came into the room and administered CPR. Emergency workers arrived at the hotel at 1:45. She then died at the hospital at 2:49 p.m. EST.

A second press conference is expected at the hospital shortly.

Anna Nicole Smith UPDATE

It is now being reported that Anna Nicole Smith has passed away. The cause is yet unknown, an autopsy will be performed.
More details to come.

Anna Nicole Smith Collapes

Access Hollywood is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith collapsed at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Florida today shortly after 2 p.m. EST. According to reports, witnesses at the scene say Anna Nicole was unresponsive when rescue workers arrived. EMT and fire crew performed CPR and a tube was put down her throat to assist with breathing at the scene before rushing her to the hospital. The Miami Herald is reporting a source at the scene saying "It does not look good."

Smith's lawyer, Ron Rayle, said that she had not been feeling well over the past few days and that she had flu-like symptoms.

A press conference is expected shortly.
