Dannielynn's Grandmother Arrives in Bahamas

Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Vergie Arthur, arrived in the Bahamas today, presumably to check on her granddaughter, Dannielynn Hope, and maybe take custody of Dannielynn. It is unclear exactly who is caring for Dannielynn at this stage.

According to a source for TMZ.com

"Virgie is very concerned for the safety and well-being of her
granddaughter. The man who has custody of Dannielynn (Howard K. Stern) was with
her daughter and grandson Daniel when they died ... under mysterious
circumstances. All she cares about is the welfare of the baby."

Anna Nicole and her mother Vergie, have not always had the best relationship, and in interviews today Vergie has stated that "I think she had too many drugs. Just like Danny. I tried to warn her about drugs and the people she hung around with. She didn't listen.”
