Charlize Theron is being sued for not sticking to the terms of her $20 million contract with Raymond Weil. According to the deal, Charlize is only to wear Raymond Weil watches in public.
"If you're the model for Ralph Lauren, you can't show up wearing Gucci at the Academy Awards," said David Jaroslawicz, an attorney for the watchmaker. "She undercut our entire ad campaign."
Theron was seen in a Tourneau catalogue wearing a Dior watch, and reportedly seen last March at a Texas film festival also wearing Dior.
Jaroslawicz said Raymond Weil would try to win back what it paid Theron. "If she didn't like the line, she didn't have to take the money," he said.
For $20 million dollars I'd wear a Raymond Weil watch on each arm and one strapped around my ankle - and I'd never take them off!
