Oh. My. God. Sanjaya is growing a mustache and a goatee. And I have to say that it's growing fast. Jennifer Lopez was the guest mentor, and she was quite nice to everyone and seemed to be into the job a lot more than Gwen Stefani . The theme was "latin" and all the girls seemed to choose a Gloria Estafan song and the boys just chose to wear really bad hats. Except of course Sanjaya, who let his hair do the talking, as usual.
Everyone was even more boring than last week, if that's possible. I can't remember anything anyone sang, but he image of the camera's panning up Haley's really long legs to yet another pair of hot pants is seared in my brain forever. Simon basically accused Haley of wearing skimpy outfits just to stay in the competition, because her voice wasn't good enough.
I hate to say it, but I don't think Melinda Doolittle is going to be safe this week, her performance was boring and the song was too old fashioned. Blake Lewis impressed the judges, but he was still massively irritating with the hat and the weird swishy leg moves.
Something better happen soon to brighten this season up - it's sooooo boring.
DialIdol.com is predicting that only Blake Lewis is safe, and Jordin and Lakisha will be in the bottom two!!!!!
Who says long legs and facial hair aren't assests in a singing competition?
