This is the cover of the new issue of Out magazine. In it, they have their first every 'Gay Power List'. And right there on the cover, by way of two models holding masks of their faces, are two A-listers who have never publicly admitted to being gay, although they have never denied it either.
"It's a bit of chutzpah on our part," says the Out editor in chief. "The A-list and even B-list gays are mostly in the closet still, and those are the kinds of people we need to have on our cover. This is a way of addressing that."He goes on to say that it is ok that he put Anderson and Foster on the cover because they are in a 'glass closet'.
"The Anderson Coopers and Jodie Fosters of the world don't go to any great lengths, if any at all, to pretend they have partners of the opposite sex."What? This makes no sense to me. They haven't publicly admitted to being gay maybe because they prefer to keep their personal business personal. I really don't think it's fair of a magazine to make that decision for them. This is sure to stir up a bit of controversy I'm sure.
