The New York Daily News is reporting that Britney Spears has sent her lawyers after ex-husband #1, Jason Alexander. Alexander, who Britney was married to for all of 55 hours back in 2004, recently told a British paper, the Sunday Mirror, all kinds of juicy details about Britney and she is not too happy about it. While Spears was in rehab, he said, among other things, that she had engaged in excessive drug use and that he was worried she might 'end up like Anna Nicole Smith'. Britney's lawyer tells the Daily News that Alexander
"...has been peddling false, defamatory and outrageous stories," and "...selling and exploiting private and confidential information about Ms. Spears to the media for money and notoriety."It sounds like Britney has plenty to be angry about because Alexander is violating a confidentiality agreement that he signed before they got married!
