Katherine Heigl will be starring in "27 Dresses", a new movie from the screenwriter of "The Devil Wears Prada".
Heigl will play a single woman who has served as a bridesmaid 27 times. She is enlisted once again for the job, and this time it's particularly painful: Her sister is marrying the man the bridesmaid is madly in love with.
The buzz on the street is that Heigl has quite the knack for comedy, and she's getting some good reviews for "Knocked Up", the new comedy due for release on 1 July.
I only have a few problems with the whole premise of this movie. There is no way someone who looks like Heigl is going to be a bridesmaid 27 times, not to mention the fact that she's been to 27 weddings, probably full of lots of single guys. And then there's the old tried and true "someone else is marrying my future husband" storyline. Hope the outfits are great!!
