Al Gore is a Safe Hugger

Al Gore announced a series of worldwide concerts this summer that will hopefully bring attention to our planetary emergency.

The 24-hour even on July 7 is part of a kickoff campaign, Save Our Selves - The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis, that promoters hope will trigger a broad movement to address what the former vice president calls a "planetary emergency." More than 100 performers are scheduled to appear at the July
concerts.

I'm hoping that in addition to addressing the emergency of our planet, someone addresses the emergency of the Al Gore hug. Maybe he saw the video of George Bush Sr. giving Teri Hatcher a little butt slap and decided to play it safe with Cameron Diaz.
