Kate Has a Hand on Her Knee!

Is it possible that Kate Middleton has moved on already? Since her split with Prince William in April, Kate has been seen out and about hitting the clubs and looking fantastic. On Wednesday night, she was seen with a 'mystery man' and friends at the Mahiki club in London. The London Paper reports,

"Kate and her date were getting close at their table. She was in unusually high spirits. She had a table within the VIP section and was dancing around."

The sources go on to claim that as they left, Kate and "The Man" got into a car together and he...gasp!...put his hand on her knee and they "giggled together". Well, sure sounds serious to me.

Kate Hangs Out with Mischa

Kate Middleton got herself a new friend and it's American Mischa Barton! Seems strange to me, kind of odd couplish. The two were seen out at a London nightclub, Boujis. You can see the photo here. Kate looked great as always in a black and white dress. Mischa looked.....interesting as always in a white top/black skirt combo. The shirt was cut down to her waist and has some strange ruffle-like detail on it. She really has strange fashion sense.

Prince Charles to Blame for Breakup?

Philip Higgs who works with Kate Middleton claims that Kate told her colleagues that Prince Charles was responsible for her breakup with Prince William.

"She had about 10 people asking if she was all right and I think she just lost her rag. She said 'It's because of his daddy'. Everyone raised their eyebrows but didn't want to push her. In the heat of the moment she'd given us a glimpse of what she really thought, what was really going on behind the scenes. Normally, Kate doesn't talk about anything. She's very quiet. But it was as if she'd reached boiling point from one sympathetic question too many. She'd been trying to keep it together and hide her real feelings. But she got a bit angry about it all and momentarily lost her cool. That happens sometimes when people are being nice to you and you're upset."

Being American, I have no idea what it means when one 'looses her rag' but it doesn't sound good!
In other Kate news (obviously my favorite topic of late), rumor has it that she is leaving the UK and headed to New York for a fashion PR job! The New York Daily News quotes a source who said,

"Kate has been offered a job as a PR coordinator for fashion mogul Tom Ford and she is considering it. It would be a great experience for her and she'd be based in Manhattan."

Her current position in London is an accessories buyer for Jigsaw where she has been since last November. I'm sure getting out of London sounds good for Kate right about now with the press following her every move. I would imagine she would get similar attention here in the states but it probably wouldn't last for long, at least not at the magnitude that she is facing now.

It's 8:00am EST...Kate Posting Time!

This latest story comes to us from The Mail and to be honest with you, I'm not sure I believe a word of it. According to The Mail, Kate Middleton was quite the flirt on Thursday night when out partying with friends. She zoned in on architect Alex Shirley-Smith at the club.

"She was dancing in the middle of a group of about five guys, who all seemed a lot more drunk than her," Alex tells The Mail on Sunday. "The James Brown song Sex Machine came on and she flicked her hair and looked over her shoulder at me. The next thing I knew she had twirled backwards towards me so her back was up against me. She started doing some very sexy moves and she was absolutely gorgeous." Alex, 30, says Kate is a great dancer and has fantastic legs. She winked at him and put her hands on his shoulders during the song Unbelievable by EMF and they sang the words together as they danced.

So what do you think? This Alex guy sure isn't holding back with the details. If Kate Middleton really came up to some random guy in a club, I seriously doubt he would remember the exact song that was playing let alone say things like "she flicked her hair..." He sounds like he just wants to be in the press but that's probably because I'd like to think Kate is a bit more subtle than that.

Ok, I'm pretty sure that Kate Middleton has become my new celeb obsession. Too bad I'm not British. I am loving watching the transformation from uptight girlfriend of a Prince to out on the town every night 20-something. She is really enjoying the single life!

Kate Goes Clubbing

Hello Magazine has this photo of Kate Middleton out on the town looking great in a mini dress. Now that her and Prince William have split, Kate can feel free to wear what she wants without having to follow the 'royal decorum'. Must be a relief to finally be able to dress her age! The same day that these photos were taken, she also returned to work as a fashion buyer. A source told the Daily Mirror,

"She seemed very calm and together. She sat outside in the sunshine laughing and
joking with friends and looked very well. She just wants to get back to normal."

Us Weekly Thinks They Know Why William & Kate Split

Considering how many rumors are swirling in America about Prince William and Kate Middleton's breakup, I can't imagine what it is like across the pond. Us Weekly seems to think they know the full story so they put the ex-couple on their cover.

Kate wanted an assurance that there was going to be a future for them, and William wasn’t ready to give that,” says a Middleton source. “His family advised
him not to rush into things, and so in the end, he couldn’t give her what she wanted.”

I feel bad for them because I don't think they even have a chance. I can't imagine dating Prince William, the paparazzi were in Kate's face 24/7. It wouldn't surprise me if that factored into their split.
