Mary-Kate Olsen loves her Fur Stole!

Apparently Mary-Kate Olsen wore her Nana style fur stole to the HBO pre-Golden Globes party, as well as an after party, but inexplicably doesn't seem to want her photo taken. I really don't get her whole choice of fur - especially the stole. If it was a neat cropped jacket or something vaguely attractive I could understand it better. Not that I condone wearing fur under any circumstances. Do you?

Ok, I'm trying to cut girlfriend some slack given she and Justin Timberlake just ended their relationship but seriously! You would think that at the first event following your breakup that you knew your ex was going to be attending as well, you'd make a bit of an effort! What exactly is going on here?? That dress! And the hair! Did she forget to do the hair? It looks like mine after a full day of chasing my kids around. And don't get me started on that red lipstick. Whoa.

Much Better Drew!

Thank goodness Drew remembered her bra this year! Remember the awful green dress with nothing underneath?? She looks beautiful in this pink gown.

Flawless Reese

Reese Witherspoon looks amazing. The dress is quite the shade of yellow, but if anyone can pull if off, it's Reese. Her makeup is beautiful.

Hillary Swank

Hilary looks fantastic in her full length black dress. Very sleek, very stylish. Love it. Now that flower in her hair....that I could do without.

Best Dressed - Eva Longoria

I think Eva Longoria is getting my vote for best dressed tonight. She's just lovely!!

Emily!

Here is Emily Blunt arriving! I loved her in The Devil Wears Prada, second only to the great Meryl Streep. I like the dress she is wearing, she looks fantastic! The beading around the neck line is georgous. I do think the bottom is a little off though. Perhaps if it were cut off right at the knees, it would be better.

Why?

Ok, seriously. I don't even know what to say. I'm stunned into silence which doesn't happen often. So shiny! And puffy! And that bow! Jennifer Love Hewitt is totally adorable so I can't for the life of me figure out this choice.

Ellen Pompeo's Do

While we are on the topic of hair, check out Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatomy (pictured with her fiance, Chris Ivery). I'm so happy to see she added some curl to it for the Golden Globes. So much better than the super tight do she was sporting at the Emmy's. Well played Ellen!

Vanessa Williams, I usually love you and think you are fabulous, but I have to say, I think the hair's a mistake! It's too curly, and your beautiful face is lost. However, I do like your dress.

Say Goodbye to Swag!

Bad news multi-million dollar earning celebs, you wont be getting your usual free swag at tonight's Golden Globes. The IRS has cracked down on celebrity gift bags, also known as swag, given out at award shows, so the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has decided to do away with the gift bags at this years' Golden Globes. The HFPA made the announcement on Wednesday just after reaching an agreement with the IRS stating that they would pay the back taxes for all gifts given out until 2005 and give celebs that received swag in 2006 with tax forms. Oh snap!!
The goodie bags last year were worth $40,000. This year, they will receive a "no-taxes-required" bag worth $6,000. Still not a bad gift if you ask me! If you want to read more, head over to Yahoo News.
