According to The New York Daily News, a source staying at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel reports that the filming of the next season of "The Bachelor"
"...at the pool here. All the contestants were running around doing some kind of a triathlon."
ABC has picked a Navy medical officer, Andy Baldwin. The source went on to say

"The Bachelor was standing there filming a segment where he was swimming.
When he was all done, and the cameras were off, he pulled a sock out of his
swimsuit."

The Bachelorette is a Relationship Expert?

There is a new book out with an author who is hoping a famous name will help it sell. But not her name, her former t.v. shows name. Better Single Than Sorry was written by Jen Schefft of The Bachelor fame. Jen was on the third season of Bachelor and 'won' a proposal from Andrew Firestone. She left her life in Chicago and moved to San Francisco to be with her prize but after a few months, the relationship fizzled. What's a girl to do? I know! Star on The Bachelorette! On that show, she received not one, but two proposals both of which she turned down. So you know what that means boys and girls: a book deal!! Jen is now officially a relationship expert and we should take note of her groundbreaking advice! She lets us know that being single is "not a curse" and that being single is "a time to have fun!" She also lets us in on what red flags we should be looking for (and by all means, when you see them, run!) such as: he lives with his mother, he answers his cell phone all the time when with you and he has no motivation.
